ACAUT to NBSE: Set another date for NSEE 2016 exams

DIMAPUR, APRIL 13 (MExN): Against Corruption and Unabated Corruption (ACAUT) Nagaland has expressed concern over the decision of the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) to conduct the Nagaland State Entrance Examination (NSEE) 2016 on May 14 coinciding with the All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT) examination which is also on the same day. A press statement from ACAUT Media Cell said it has received genuine complaints from parents and students on the “arbitrary decision of the NBSE” for disregarding the concerns raised by them on the overlapping of exam date. Terming it as unfortunate that NBSE should be so “indifferent to the plight of students as to put them through this conundrum of choosing between NSSE and AIPVT, and thereby denying students the opportunity to sit for all examination,” ACAUT said the matter was easily rectifiable and, therefore, NBSE should waste no time in setting another date for conducting the NSEE and give the students every fighting chance for their future.
