ACAUT reiterates appeal to attend rally

Dimapur, August 22 (MExN): ACAUT Nagaland has one again called upon all Nagas to attend the August 25 ‘All Nagaland Public Rally’ to be held in Dimapur.

“Without the support of the people, the ‘War against Corruption” and the ‘Battle to reclaim the Land’ would be irreparably lost. This rally is one last chance to show to the world that Nagas stand united in solidarity against both corruption and factionalism which has destroyed the state,” stated a press release from Media Cell, ACAUT Nagaland.

ACAUT assured the people that the only motive of the rally is to usher in peace, self-esteem and dignity in “our” lives. “On the day of the rally, the ACAUT, on the strength of the thousands gathered will be taking historic resolutions for which the participation of people from every corner of the state is absolutely necessary,” it added.

It stressed that its appeal to the people to make the rally the ‘mother of all rallies’ should not be taken lightly. “In case, the required strength of the people is missing in the rally, no worthwhile resolutions can be taken, in which case, the ACAUT would lose its moral authority. And any organization or movement which has lost its moral authority has no right to continue to exist. This is the standard by which the ACAUT upholds itself.”

Meanwhile, ACAUT informed the public that the CNTC has allowed its office, located next to Town Hall, Super Market Complex, Dimapur, to be used as a control room till the time of the rally.
