Dimapur, August 23 (MExN): ACAUT Nagaland has requested all participants for the August 25 rally to start in advance for the venue considering the traffic situation in Dimapur. The participants have been requested to avail the free pickup and dropping service extended by DDADU (Dimapur District Auto rickshaw Drivers’ Union) and DDPVODU (Dimapur District Pick-Up Van Owners & Drivers Union). Volunteers for the rally will be at the site by 1 pm.
Pick-ups will be stationed in important places such as old Dhansiri Bridge, Kuda Village, Purana Bazar, St. John School junction, Firing Junction, Burma Camp/Veterinary Colony, Nepali Khashiram/ Rangapahar, Signal Junction near Sub-Urban PS, DDSC Stadium, and DC office junction. All the autos and the pick-ups on transportation duty will be displayed with posters, said a press release from Media Cell, ACAUT Nagaland.
It has requested all participants to flag down autos and pick-ups with posters without any hesitation for dropping purpose at the rally venue.
Some of the other prominent speakers at the rally will be from CNTC, KCCI, AKMWP, International Border Area People’s Organization, IMTN, and DUCCF.
Meanwhile, it thanked all the bikers who gave their time and energy to raise awareness for the rally on August 23. Further, ACAUT requested each and every participant to come with their own banners and posters to the rally.
