ACID & NDWM Dimapur welcomes new president

Dimapur, March 9 (MExN): Assisi Centre for Integrated Development (ACID), Dimapur and National Domestic Workers Movement (NDWM) held a felicitation programme for Rev Sr Benny Fernandes, as the newly elected president of their organisation. 

The programme was held at ACID’s hall and was attended by the president of All Nagaland Domestic Workers Union (ANDWU), leaders of Self Help Groups (SHGs) and other members and staffs on March 9, Sr Pramila UFS, Director, ACID informed in a press release. 

During the programme, Sr Pramila expressed her privilege in having Sr Benny as their “guide to lead” and support the organisation and work for the cause of domestic workers rights, empowerment and dignity of SHGs while also enhancing their skills and to make them economically strong by being a pillar of strength and support to other women through her leadership.

Sr Pramila also expressed gratitude towards Rev Sr Mary CJ as the outgoing president of the organisation.
