Kohima, January 29 (MExN): The ongoing Angami Catholic Women Association (ACWA) convention entered its second day on Saturday at Zhadima village hosted by St. Peter and Paul church.

The second day began with the celebration of the holy Eucharist by Rev. Fr. Joyal, VC, parish i/c St. Peter and Paul church Zhadima.

Speaking on the theme ‘One Lord, one faith, one baptism,’ Rev. Fr. Dr. George Pezalhoukho Rino asked faithful to ponder if the teachings of “God, the creator of all things,” are being followed. He urged the people to do their best to be “God's disciples.”

He said that Catholics should proudly profess the faith of the “universal church which professes one faith.” Citing biblical references of the Catholic Church, he enlightened the gathering about why the Catholic Church believes in 'one baptism' pronounced by a priest in the "name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit".

Making references to the teachings of the Church, he also highlighted about the importance of “infant baptism” among Catholics.

The session was chaired by Neikeduonuo Susana (NACWA), invocation by Neipusa-ü Lydia (WACWA), Bible reading by SACWA General Secretary Vikeyieno Elizabeth, and prayer by Tsühi-ü Mary (CACWA). Viswema CWA was the choir of the session.

In the folk song competition, 15 churches registered for the event.
