Bhandari, January 11 (DIPR): The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Bhandari, Tiameren Chang held a co-ordination meeting with all the Heads of Departments under Bhandari sub-division of Wokha district on January 10 at the ADC's conference hall.
Chairing the meeting where various issues relating to the upcoming assembly election were discussed, the ADC told the officers to stay in their respective posting stations and perform their assigned duties once the election date is announced.
The meeting also deliberated on the upcoming Republic Day celebration in the sub-division and thereafter, the departments were assigned with certain duties to carry out for smooth functioning of the day.
It further decided to conduct a mass social work on January 24, 2018 in Bhandari Town, for which, the GBs were entrusted to supervise their respective colonies.
During the discussion, the PHE department stated that two main water reservoirs were washed away by the heavy rains due to which water is now being tapped directly from the source which needs to be looked into for more sufficient supply to the public.
Progress of works by departments, their performance and requirements etc, were also deliberated in the meeting.
The ADC, Bhandari in continuation to the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Order No. ARMs/MISC/10-11/VOL-1/116/DT WKA, the 6th January 2018, also informed all arms license holders under Bhandari sub-division that the last date for verification of arms license has been extended till February 28, 2018.
Failure to comply with the directive shall result in cancellation of license, the circular added.
