Wokha, September 27 (MExN): ADC & Administrator, Wokha Town Council, K Mhathung Tsanglao has issued a notice to all dogs owners to put a collar on their dogs within 15 days from the date of issue of this order. The order is in subsequence with the Nagaland Municipal Act (NMA) 2001, Section 417 (1). The Ward/Colony authorities are authorized to ensure in their respective wards/colonies that dogs are chained from 6 am to pm. Any dog found loitering in the town or colonies or public places without collars in between the specified hours shall be caught and confined. Detention fee shall be charged and failing to claim or pay detention fee within one week will lead to disposing of the dog, the ADC added.
