Adolescents Education Programme Plus held

Kohima, August 27 (MExN): Family Planning Association of India (FPAI), Nagaland Branch conducted Adolescents Education Programme Plus (AEP+) in Government Middle School, P Khel Kohima Village with the students of Standard 5, 6, 7 and 8 on August 27. 


Akangkokla Namo, Programme Officer FPA India, Nagaland Branch in a press release stated that the session included topics on gender and diversity, sexual and reproductive health and HIV, rights and responsibilities, life skills, abuse, relationships and pleasure. The module has been designed with the objective to equip adolescents with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values they need to determine for informed choices.


The students were encouraged to penetrate themselves from their timid behavior and inculcate the practice of asking questions to circumvent misconception and spread wrong information on various subject.


The session was conducted by Akangkokla Namo, Programme Officer and Ville Rhetso, Counselor, FPAI, Nagaland Branch.
