Advance reservation period for specials trains increased to 120 days

Maligaon, May 29 (MExN): The Indian Railways has modified instructions for 30 special Rajdhani type trains which started on May 12 and 200 Special Mail / Express trains to be introduced from June 1.
A press release from Subhanan Chanda, CPRO of Northeast Frontier Railway informed that the Ministry of Railways has now decided to increase the advance reservation period (ARP) of all these notified Special trains from 30 days to 120 days. Booking of parcel and luggage will also be permitted in all 230 trains.
The above changes will come into effect from 08:00 hrs of train booking date on May 31 onwards. Other terms and will be same as in regular time tabled trains, the release added.
