Kohima, April 11 (MExN): The officers and staff of the Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection, Government of Nagaland felicitated Pukhayi Sumi, Advisor to the department during an interactive meeting held at his office chamber on April 9.
The Advisor called upon the officers to work diligently in co-operation with each other and with the government to bring about a change as promised, sooner than later, stated a press release from Bizo M Kuotsu, Additional Controller & HoD, Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection.
Nikhashe Sema, Commissioner & Secretary to the Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection, who presided over the meeting, congratulated Pukhayi on being elected to the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and said that the department was very fortunate to have a person of his caliber and experience as its Advisor.
While presenting a brief profile of the department, Bizo M Kuotsu extended full co-operation of the department and prayed that under the leadership of the Advisor, the department will achieve its aim and objectives.
