Dimapur, December 12 (MExN): The Assemblies of God of East India (AGEI), Women's Ministry - Regional Conference under the theme ‘Carry His presence’ was held from December 7 to 9 at Bethesda Hr Sec School, Dimapur.
The speakes were Getzial Mohan, President, NWC who is the pastor's wife at New Life AG Church, Chennai, Amenla Cunnigham, Treasurer, NWC, pastor's wife at First Assembly of God Church, Bangalore and Rev. Moses Murry, General Supdt, AGEI while Deissy Alvarez, Argentina, Missionary to East India, Chumbeni Marbaniang, Member, NWC, and Esther Murry, Member, NWC were the resource persons.
Basing on the theme, the speakers spoke on topics like a role model for Women's Ministry, the Church developing a ministry among young women and the importance of prayer. Special presentations from all the eight states of East India were another highlight. The choirs included from Zadi Rasa & Zadi Bawe AG Church, Yuroba AG Church, Lotha AG Church, Kohima and Karbi Anglong, Karbi Section, Assam.
There were also workshops conducted by the resource persons on various topics by Vikhono, Narola and Bijaya. The messages were interpreted by Lalitha Roy and Lenna Devi in Hindi and Nagamese. “Many women received the healing,” stated a press release received here. Altogether 600 Women delegates from all the North East churches attended the conference.
