Imphal, December 1 (MExN): AIG Hospitals Hyderabad and Shija hospital Imphal signed an MOU to perform the first liver transplant in Manipur.
According to Dr Palin CMD Shija Hospital, it will be a Centre of Excellence for Liver transplant dedicated to the people of Manipur and North Eastern states.
Santosh Kumar Sahoo VP AIG Hospitals Hyderabad said in order to help patients from Manipur, Mizoram and North East, AIG Hospitals Hyderabad and Shija hospital Imphal associated to provide the most advanced liver transplant surgeries in North Eastern States by setting up a Global Standard Liver Transplant Center at Imphal.
AIG Hospitals Hyderabad and Shija Hospital Imphal will jointly organise super specialty outreach clinics in Liver and Oncology.
