DIMAPUR, AUGUST 16 (MExN): The indefinite bandh on the Akuluto and VK Area National Highway which was scheduled to start from August 17 has been called off. This decision was made following assurance of the Executive Engineer to repair the road from Sümi Settsü to Akuluto Town within 7 days, and from Akuluto to Khitsakita within 21 days. This was informed in a joint statement from the Akuluto Area GB’s Association Cont, VK Area Public Organization, VK Area GB’s Association, Akuluto Town GB’s Council Cont, VK Range Students’ Union and Akuluto Range Students’ Union.
