All Blacks champs of Morning Champions Cup

KOHIMA, OCTOBER 21 (MExN): The All Blacks handed a 4-1 thrashing to Morung United at the final of the 2nd Morning Champions Cup (MCC) 2017. The tournament organised by the Morning Football Association (MFA), started on September 4 and concluded October 21 at the St. Joseph Ground, Jakhama. The All Blacks emerged the winner from a field of 12 teams. MFA’s objective is to create a platform through the Morning Premier League and the MCC for retired football players, who still have the urge to play and also maintain one’s health as well as make new friends. Pirong Jamir of Morung United was adjudged the Most Valuable palyer, while Ato also of Morung United won the Golden Glove.
