ANCSF demands redress

DIMAPUR, NOV 18 (MExN): The All Nagaland Co-operative Societies Federation (ANCSF) in its executive body meeting held on November 17 at Kohima thoroughly deliberated and reviewed the progress of the implementation of National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) sponsored schemes for primary cooperative societies in India.

The federation in a release stated that it has resolved to urge the state department of cooperation to release payments to those cooperative societies who have already been accorded sanctions by NCDC without further delay.

It also resolved to urge the department of cooperation to vigorously pursue with the NCDC obtaining of necessary sanctions for all remaining cooperative societies from the first badge of 105 schemes which were already cleared by the State Level Coordination Committee (SLCC) earlier.

The federation also resolved to urge the concern department to take up all remaining cases under NCDC which were already submitted to the concern authorities, both at the state and district levels.

The federation further requested the state government not to delay payment by raising unnecessary queries causing both undue delay in the process and also causing financial hardship to primary cooperative societies in the implementation of their economic projects, as NCDC is a national economic policy to boost rural economy through cooperatives.
