DIMAPUR, JULY 23 (MExN): The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has once again asked college students to maintain strict discipline while in college uniform and within the institution.
“While on some occasions, the ANCSU has been informed on misconduct of college students in uniform, the union is anguished by such unhealthy behaviors as a student,” a press note from the ANCSU stated.
It informed that the union will be activating its affiliated units to ensure that no college student in future may “tarnish the good identity of a college student.” Therefore, it cautioned college students not to indulge in any kind of ill practices in college uniform and warned that loitering in college uniforms late evening is strictly discouraged.
The union further extended solidarity to the concerned students’ bodies in their “mission of upholding the integrity of a student.” The ANCSU also appealed to house owners to give rent to college students only after proper/relatable guardian is made accountable for the student, while adding that students are banned from indulging in alcoholic influence in uniform or in alcohol shops.
“The union in its capacity and wisdom will not hesitate to take any action against those erring students who fail to acknowledge the precautionary measures given by the union,” it said.
