DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 28 (MExN): The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has reiterated its demand for the Department of Higher Education to immediately release post matric scholarship for ST students for the year 2016-17. A press note from the ANCSU expressed concern that the department, despite its assurance to release the same within 10 days, has not done so. It asked the department to release the scholarship without any excuse and cautioned that failure to do so would “invite retaliation for which the department will be held responsible for any untoward incidence.” It meanwhile assured that the union would not compromise its stand and demand until the scholarship is released in full amount.
