Dimapur, July 22 (MExN): The 2nd Union Assembly of All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) was held on July 20 at the auditorium hall of Saku’s Mission College, Dimapur.
ANCSU stated in a press release that the Union Assembly deliberated on the Kohima Science College, Jotsoma land encroachment issue and decided to wait till August 9, 2018 as proposed by the district administration for 40 days.
The house also discussed on the issues of undergoing MBBS/BDS and other professional courses; 2017-18 scholarship; immediate detachment of teacher attached (self-styled) to VIPs, Directorate, DEOs, SDEOs and other Mission.
It was also decided that Mountain View Christian College Students Council Kohima is suspended till further notice due to the declaration of the college as non-functional.
Thejasenuo Kire of St. Joseph College of Jakhama was inducted as the women coordinator of ANCSU for the tenure 2017-19.
Chaired by Pithungo Shitio, ANCSU Speaker, the Assembly was attended by 30 affiliated units. Inato Y Chisho, Finance Secretary invoked God’s presence and Benjong Longchar, Vice President ANCSU welcomed the gathering to the Assembly.
