The 31st foundation cum cultural day of Anderson Theological College was celebrated with the theme, “Honouring God through Culture” on February 15.

Dr Shitovi Sumi Principal, Anderson Theological College (ATC), greeted the guests with updates on God's continued grace and mercy towards the growth of ATC. He gave all glory to God for bringing ATC to a point where we can proudly say that ATC is at par with leading theological colleges and seminaries of the world in delivering excellence and producing servant leaders who have a heart for God's ministry.

Kahovi Aye, Academic Dean gave the welcome address.

Gracing the programme, Rev Dr Joshua Rochill, Former Principal ATC shared the story of how the College was founded in the first session. He emphasised the vision, mission, challenges, and achievements that led to the establishment of the institution.

He encouraged faculty, staff, and students to always 'Uphold the Truth' in all their endeavours. In addition, Dr Joshua also made a analogy, comparing the relationship between the SBAK and ATC to that of a husband and wife. He emphasised that just as a marriage thrives on mutual respect, trust, and collaboration, so too should the bond between the Association and the college. Both entities, he noted, must work together in harmony, supporting each other through challenges and celebrating successes.
A special prayer for the ATC Ministry was led by Akai Yeptho Accountant Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu Aizuto.

Session two was graced by special guest Kiviho Kinny, Senior Treasury Officer, Wokha Nagaland. He was accompanied by his wife Pavitoli K Chishi and Ahoshe Yeptho Pastor Wokha Town Sumi Baptist Church. Kinny shared his experiences and thoughts on the importance of educational institutions in shaping young minds for the future, participate in embracing diverse culture and inspiring everyone to continue striving for excellence.

A special prayer for the special guest was offered by Rev Picuto Yeptho Pastor Centre Baptist Church Aizuto. The cultural extravaganza featured various performances, including music, dance, and cultural activities.
