Kohima, September 4 (MExN): The meeting of the department officials, SCERT, NIOS and All Nagaland Primary Teachers’ Association (ANGPTA) pertaining to the issue of untrained under-matric and matriculate teachers across the state, who were mostly appointed much before the policy of Right to Free Education was implemented in the country, was held on September 4.
It was initiated by ANGPTA. According to a press release from ANGPTA Media Cell, the State Government has decided to work out modalities for them as and when the figure of the untrained under-matric and matriculates teachers are accurately figured out. In order to ascertain the same, the district units of ANGPTA have been requested to collect the data within 2 days fixed time from those untrained teachers. “The teachers are requested to treat this message as urgent and spread the news to all the fellow teachers,” the press release added.
