Kohima, September 1 (MExN): The All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU), Kohima unit will be observing Hindi Diwas on September 14 in Tseminyu under Kohima district. In a press release issued by its information & publicity secretary Nelson Yhokha, the unit also invited the schools under Kohima district to the competitions which will be held on September 13.
The competitions will be held in following categories: Singing (Solo) – for any class; Extempore speech – for any class; Debate – classes 8 to 12 only; Essay – classes 6 to 8 & 9 to 12; Poem recitation – classes 1 to 5 (respective class text book). The topics for the essay contest are – ‘Hamara Nagaland’ (class 6 to 8) and ‘Hindi ka mahatva’ (class 9 to 12).
Meanwhile, the topic for the debate is ‘Mobile se hani aur labh’.
