Kiphire, March 21 (MExN): Joining the rest of the state, All Nagaland Inter-Departmental Field Staff Association Joint Forum (ANIDFSA JF) of Kiphire Unit comprising of members from various departments today organized a sit-in protest at Deluxe Point, Kiphire.
Dismayed over the non responsive attitudes with regard to Revision of Pay (ROP) for the work charged employees, non-payment of regular salaries and inability to regularize their service, the Forum joined the sit-in protest to express their resentment. Displaying banners that read, "We condemn the indifferent attitude of Government towards work-charge employees," "Implement Court orders for work-charge employees," and "Honor the rights to earn livelihood for work-charge employees," ANIDFSA JF demanded three points from the government.
In Kiphire, ANIDFSA JF members are mostly from PHED, and PWD (Housing & R&B). Medical department too took part at the sit-in protest. President of ANIDFSA JF Kiphire unit Shukiu Tikhir and General Secretary Tsakyumong Sangtam have expressed to extend their support to the central unit in support of their demand throughout the agitation.
