
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 6 (MExN): The Arunachal Naga Students’ Federation (ANSF) today hailed the agreement reached by the by Government of India, NSCN (IM), and the WC, NNPGs for a permanent peaceful solution, and respecting the rights of the Tirap, Changlang, Longding Nagas.
A press release from the ANSF lauded Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and the Interlocutor, RN Ravi for “understanding that through negotiation an enduring peaceful agreement can be arriveed for the Nagas.” It also appreciated the leaders of the NSCN (IM) and the WC, NNPGs for working towards a solution for the Naga people.
It meanwhile urged people to be “vigilant from some people who try to misinterpret and misinformed about the Indo-Naga issue in an unfair concept. The land belongs to us and the land will prosper in near-term.”
It informed that the federation had written to the Prime Minister and the Interlocutor on October 28 for “an inclusiveness consultation with ANSF and stakeholders from Tirap, Changlang and Longding region in special provision, because the Naga issue is within us and we’re the liable owners of our land to decide our future.”
“This is the affair of TCL people and we will decipher with harmonious for a permanent peace in our region,” it added.
The federation meanwhile appealed to the Chiefs, GBs, apex CSOs, students organizations, NGOs, legislators, political parties, students and citizens of TCL region to collectively voice in unison for a permanent peaceful solution and prosperous development.
