Pungro, June 21 (MExN): The first session of All Nagaland School Teachers' Association (ANSTA) Pungro Unit was held on June 17 at EBRC Hall Pungro Town. ANSTA Pungro Unit was formed on April 19, 2016 and subsequently approved by ANSTA Central Kohima on May 4, 2016.
More than 100 school teachers from Pungro sub-division turned up for the session. Youngthrenthong, one of the senior most teachers exhorted the teachers. Resolutions were adopted for the welfare of its members for smooth functioning of office.
The officials for the tenure 2016-18 were selected with President K. Mukamchim; Vice President K. Sirongthong; General Secretary L. Tsulongthong; Joint Secretary Y. Resangmew; Press and Infinartyion Secretary R. Wongchum; Finance Secretary V. Khiuvakiu; Assistant Finance Secretary T. Kamjila; and Treasurer K. Yotsumong.
