The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) HQ Kohima launched its ambulance service on April 29.
Speaking at the launching programme, Dziesevituo Solo, President ANTA HQ Kohima said that the ambulance was launched especially for the taxi drivers and members to be used as and when required. This ambulance will provide free service to all the registered taxi owners and drivers, he said. Solo stated that in challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the ambulance was launched for the members to make use of, free of cost.
Meanwhile, Solo urged all the taxi drivers to follow the motto of the Association 'Service to the public' and maintain strict SOPs as per guidelines.
