ANTA, Pfütsero Unit cautions taxi drivers against drinking & driving

Phek, September 9 (MExN): The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Pfütsero Unit has stated that the Association have received several complains that “some taxi drivers are in the habit of driving under the influence of alcohol while transporting passengers.” This was informed in a press release issued by ANTA   Pfütsero Unit President Neikhape Kreo and Secretary Welhipe Marhu. “This is not only unethical but more importantly putting the lives of passengers at risk,” the ANTA Pfütsero Unit said. 

The Association further cautioned that “if and when any taxi driver under ANTA Pfütsero Unit is found driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs while transporting passengers, the vehicle key shall be seized and action shall be taken against him.”
