‘The Ao Naga Choir’ takes center stage at ‘Easter Concert’

‘The Ao Naga Choir’ conducted by Rohan de Lanerolle, from Colombo Sri Lanka performing on March 24 at the Cathedral Church of the Redemption, New Delhi.
  The Hungarian Embassy and the Balassi Institute (Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre) in collaboration with the Cathedral Church of Redemption and the Delhi Ao Baptist Church organised an 'Easter Concert' featuring 'The Ao Naga Choir' conducted by Rohan de Lanerolle, from Colombo Sri Lanka, on March 24 at the Cathedral Church of the Redemption, New Delhi.   The choir enthralled the audience - (which was a mixed audience of diplomats from the various embassies, dignitaries and the general public); with repertoire from composers viz, Josef Anton Bruckner, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Maurice Duruflé, Zoltán Kodály, Liszt Ferenc, Tom Fettke, Moses Hogan, Ralph Manuel & Sir John Rutter.   The programme was hosted by Dr. Zoltán WILHELM MSc, PhD, Habil.   Director, Cultural Counsellor, Associate Professor, Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre, Embassy of Hungary, New Delhi who said that it was the second such collaboration with the 'Ao Naga Choir' and hope to have such events in the future.
