Ao Senden, AKM reject RMSA advt on language teachers

MOKOKCHUNG, MARCH 24 (MExN): The Ao Senden and the Ao Students’s Conference (AKM) today “totally rejected” the advertisement issued by the RMSA dated March 22, 2016, regarding 16 vacant posts for Ao language teachers under the RMSA. A joint statement from the two organizations informed that they had met the Nagaland State Chief Minister on February 25 to resolve the confusion created by an earlier RMSA advertisement of the same issue dated January 27, 2014. The latest advertisement, they stated is “contrary” to the talk held with the CM. The Ao Senden and the AKM has urged all Aos “not to apply for the said post till an amicable solution to this issue is made as per the decision made thereof at CM’s table and Aos as a whole.” It cautioned that if “any untoward incident occurs during such times the department will be solely responsible.” “If the government fails to fulfill its demand the Ao Senden and AKM will reiterate its decision and take stern action,” it added.
