Ao Senden to work ‘hand-in-hand’ with NTC

Apprises NTC to give support and work alongside with Naga Hoho  

Mokokchung, August 13 (MExN): The Ao Senden has now decided to work “hand-in-hand” with the Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC) for the “common welfare and upliftment” of Naga people.  

The Ao Senden Presidential Executive Council and the NTC led by its President had a joint co-ordination meeting on August 12 at the Ao Senden office and discussed various issues, especially “regarding the present Nagas and political situation,” informed a press release from Ao Senden President Imolemba Jamir and General Secretary A Panger Ao.   Apart from deciding to work together, the Ao Senden also apprised the NTC to “give support and work together alongside” the Naga Hoho and other civil societies to “achieve the common desired goals.” The Ao Senden, during the meeting, urged the civil societies to be proactive in “sustaining as well as taking preemptive measures” on policies and programs of the Nagaland State Government for the “benefit” of the Nagas.
