Kohima, August 19 (MExN): The Supreme Court on August 18 disposed the special leave petition (SLP) C no.020048-/2017 registered on August 5 by Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu. “This utter dismissal by the apex Court of the country blatantly exposes the illegality and the disastrous stand of Dr. Shürho with regards to the ongoing leadership dispute and the tussle of the NPF Party cock symbol and flag,” stated a press release from Press and Information Cell of Rio-led NPF. Consequently, it added, “the NPF led by Rio can safely and assertively conclude that the legal and constitutional foundations of Dr. Shürho and his group are extremely shaky and slippery.” Justice A.K Sikri and Justice Ashok Bhushan signed the disposal.
