Dimapur, February 13 (MExN): The Assam Rifles reported the arrest of one NSCN (KN) cadre in general area Nagarjan, Dimapur on February 13. According to a press release from the AR, based on specific input, troops of Assam Rifles along with Police representative launched an operation and apprehended one NSCN (KN) cadre and recovered one 9mm Pistol Browning with magazine, one 7.62mm AK-47 magazine, 11 rounds of 9mm ammunition, 14 rounds of .38mm ammunition, seven rounds of 7.62mm (LMG) ammunition, 10 rounds of 7.62mm AK-47 ammunition and eight boxes of Spasma Proxivom Capsules (approx Rs 30.72 lakh). The apprehended individual along with the recovered items have been handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation, the release added.
