Dimapur, July 8 (MExN): Rifleman Chandan Mochari of DGAR Karate Team made history by becoming the first member of the Assam Rifles for having been selected to represent Indian Karate Team under the All India Karate-Do Federation in the forthcoming 6th Commonwealth Karate Championship to be held at Sydney, Australia on July 30 to 31, 2011. Rifleman Mochari represented DGAR Karate Team since 2006 and had made the Force proud by bagging one Gold medal, four Silver medals and three Bronze medals in various national level karate events. The entire Assam Rifles fraternity wishes him great success in the Championship.
