Army provides health care

Dimapur, February 27 (MExN): A medical camp was organized by 4003 Field Hospital under the aegis of HQ 3 Corps at Sarbura Government Middle School, Kashiram village on February 26.
The Army in a press release has stated that this medical camp provided free medical and dental check up and treatment for various commonly occurring ailments in the civil population. Col MS Bindra, Commanding Officer  Field Hospital, along with a team of 5 doctors including 2 lady doctors to cater to the needs of female patients and a team of dental doctors of 3 Corps Dental Unit examined the patients. A lab and dressing station were also setup along with an exhibition comprising of health education material to highlight the preventive aspects of various diseases.
Addressing the beneficiaries of the camp, Brig PK Gupta, Brig Med HQ 3 Corps stated that such activities contribute in strengthening goodwill between Army and the civilian fraternity. The medical camp was the latest in the series of such camps, to provide comprehensive health care and medical facilities at the doorstep of the civilian population. A total of 320 patients including 182 women and children received free medical treatment and approx 45 patients were offered free dental check up at the camp by doctors of 4003 Field Hospital and 3 Corps Dental Unit.  T.
