Kohima, January 18 (MExN): A five-day Art Residency programme for Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) empanelled visual artists started at Tuophema village on January 18. Altogether 12 established and upcoming visual artists empanelled with TaFMA are attending the programme.
TaFMA Project Director, Dr Hovithal Sothu in a press release stated that the programme started with a short briefing and words of encouragement from the Project Director. The participants were taken for a Tuophema Village walk under the guidance of Keduo, Tourist Guide, to give the participants an in depth experience and knowledge of Tuophema village.
During the programme, some of the activities will include live painting, mentorship classes, interactive sessions, and art camp for school students, art competition for children and capacity building exercises.
The programme will culminate with an art exhibition at Tuophema village Council Hall on January 22.
