This Magnum Opus IV, the organizer Act of Kindness is presenting ‘Artsy Naga’ on October 24 and 25 at Urban Haat, Dimapur.
Artsy Naga is a destination blog for all art lovers, creative heads and artist to explore their creativity. It is mission is to provide a platform to connect and bring together like minded people to contribute to our society by helping people understand and appreciate art especially amongst the Naga youths. It springs from a noble thought that there are many talented young Naga artists whose work needs to be discussed and valued. These fine arts are also an expression of an evolving and growing society which needs to be encouraged.
The blog is spearheaded by Tunavi Achumi, who completed his BA in VFX and animation from arena animation, Bangalore. The blog features the works of more than 100 artist covering different subject and art interest in his blog. It has developed a highly engaging audience and has a plan to expand the network beyond blog post. The blog continues to thrive in the belief that these many talented and promising artists from Nagaland needs to be features and promoted across the globe.
More than 20 artists will be participating to showcase their work.
Some of the few collaborating artist of Artsy Naga are Ajung Jamir, Inoto Achumi, Viphre Sorhei, Mannyei Phone, Masakala Tzudir, Kawoto Achumi, One. During the event, there will also be floor talks, art demonstration and art competitions with the prize worth Rs 10,000 (2 winners) and consolation prizes of Rs 5000 (3 winners).
