Take 1 Take 2 Football, indoor games, marathon race mark day 3   Our Correspondent Kohima | March 2   Football, volleyball, indoor games and marathon race marked day three event of the ongoing golden jubilee tournament of the Angami Sports Association (ASA) here at the Kohima Local ground and Indoor Stadium.   Gracing the football and volleyball events as special guest here today, MLA Er. Kropol Vitsu maintained football and volleyball as universal game and called upon the Naga youth to involve in the field with hard work and determination. Talent without hard work is nothing, he said and called upon the sports lovers to take hard work as a stepping stone to excel in the field of games and sports.   Complimenting ASA for attaining 50 glorious years since its inception in 1967, Er. Vitsu stressed on the need to identify the young talents and nurture them to the higher level.   Earlier, chief patron Vilelie Khamo flagged off a marathon race this morning from Kohima Science College, Jotsoma and it culminated at Kohima Local Ground.   Meanwhile, MLA Dr. Neiphrezo Keditsu will grace the final matches of football and volleyball on March 3 at 9:00 AM at Kohima Local Ground while MLA Zhaleo Rio will be the special guest for indoor games on the same day at 3:00 PM at Indoor Stadium.   The Indian Postal department would formally launch the use of ASA golden jubilee mascot on their official envelop and rubber stamp on March 3.   The Golden Bull on ASA mascot signifies the strength, stamina, determination and stability whereas the name/colour ‘Golden’ represents the 50 years golden jubilee celebration.   Wrestling have been scheduled on March 4 with minister for security & welfare and parliamentary affairs Kiyanilie Peseyie as the chief guest.   ASA golden jubilee tournament results & fixture Marathon Race 1st: Neisalie Yakhro(SASA)- 53 minutes.44 seconds 2nd: Kevide Kikhi(SASA)-54 minutes. 03 seceonds 3rd: Neilabeituo Shuya(NASA)- 54 minutes.12 seconds Football Final Match (3rd March) at 9.00 AM at Kohima Local Ground CSA vs WASA 3rd place- SASA Volleyball Final match (Men) –(3rd March) at 9.00 AM Kohima Local Ground SASA vs WASA 3rd and 4th play off- NASA vs CSA Final match (Women) –(3rd March) at 9 .00 AM Kohima Local Ground SASA vs CSA 3rd place- NASA Final matches for indoor games will be played at Indoor Stadium, Kohima from 3:00 PM onwards on March 3.
