DIMAPUR, MARCH 5 (MExN): With the enforcement of Model Code of Conduct due to Assam election, the proposed bandh between Mariani-New Sonowal-Mokokchung has been quashed by Assam Government with effect from March 5 afternoon. The infinite bandh was called by various NGOs of Assam for not improving the dilapidated road conditions in that area beside the assurance given by the BRO. This was informed in an official notification issued by ADC Mangkolemba, Imtiwapang Aier on Saturday.
