Assam Rifles build community kitchen, toilet at Shokhuvi

Dimapur, April 8 (MExN): As part of its Civic Action Programme, the Assam Rifles Training Centre and School (ARTC&S) has constructed a village community kitchen and toilet block at Shokhuvi village in Dimapur.   A press release from the ARTC&S informed that the problem of non-availability of a community kitchen and toilet block at Shokhuvi village was highlighted by P Akhitio Zhimomi, Chairman of Shokhuvi Village Council, through an application to Assam Rifles Training Centre and School.

  Both the community kitchen and the toilet were given to the people of Shokhuvi village by Brig K Narayanan, Commandant, Assam Rifles Training Centre and School.   The Assam Rifles through the press release assured that it will continue its sincere efforts to facilitate peace and development in the North East.
