Zunheboto, February 10 (MExN): Assam Rifles in a joint operation along with Police representative launched an operation and busted a hideout in general area Hosephu on February 9.
According to a press release from the HQ IGAR (N), based on specific input, troops of Assam Rifles along with police representative launched an operation and busted a hideout, carefully concealed and away from the village area which was in the process of being established illegally as a training camp by the Khango led NSCN (K) faction in general area Hosephu under Aghunato Sub-Division of Zunheboto district.
The temporary structures under construction were destroyed by burning and the recovered items to include uniforms, rations, digging tools, generator, pup tents and other administrative stores have been handed over to Aghunato Police Station, the release stated.
