Kohima, April 26 (MExN): The annual non-local verification process will be initiated from May 2 to 21 at ASU Office HQ, below AIR Station BOC Kohima.
All non-locals inhabiting in Kohima district must verify and register their necessary Documents including ILP, Identity card if under any service, valid trade license, voters ID and other IDs. The person must produce Original Documents and Photocopies along with 2 passport size Photo. Government servants are exempted.
ASU Media Cell General Secretary Visako Rino in a press release stated, “Angami Students’ Union is extremely alarmed by the demographic threats posed by overwhelming influx of illegal immigrants. While we foresee inconveniences to many genuine citizens toward affecting this exercise, we urge all citizens to cooperate so as to counter this threat collectively.”
