ASUB holds fresher’s meet

Bangalore, September 1 (MExN): The 18th Angami Students’ Union Bangalore (ASUB) Fresher's meet was held on August 15, at the United Theological College, Bangalore.


A press release issued by Zakietuo Noudi President, ASUB stated that the programme was chaired by Mhaletsolie Vielie & Thepfusaneinuo Dahou, while the Pastor of NCF Bangalore, Zhabu Yimsung graced the occasion with an invocation and encouraged the freshers present at the event. 


The guest speaker Katho P Awomi, ANCSU president exhorted the gathering where in his speech he mentioned his concern for the Nagas to unite again for a better tomorrow. The crowd was then treated to soulful music from guest artists Nise Meruno and Nourhe Khate. 


The Union is also pleased with the turn out as the event was attended by approximately 250-300 people which included the Naga Students' Union and other various tribal unions present in Bangalore, the release said.


Zakietuo Noudi, ASUB further requested the parents whose children are studying or working in Bangalore to encourage them to join the union, so that they can stay united and support each other in hour of need.
