ATMA Akuhaito organizes mobilization of farmers

Zunheboto, August 28 (MExN): The ATMA Akuhaito organized mobilization of farmers on the topic ‘agriculture credit, rural loan & rural finance’’ at Khrimtomi Village on August 24. 

A press release issued by Akuhaito block ATMA Zunheboto stated that during the mobilization programme Kaiho Achumi ATM AKuhaito, stressed on how rural women can achieve financial stability by growing organic vegetables in the area enhancing market demands from the nearby market. Various seeds were also distributed to the farmers, the release added.

Arto Awomi, Sales officer and Personal Loan in charge ICICI Bank, Mokokchung briefly discussed on how farmers can apply for different loans like crop loans, dairy loans, poultry loans etc. He also stated the importance of creating a bank account and listed the details required for the account beside KCCs loans from the banks were discussed by him. A total of 30 female farmers from different villages attended the programme.
