ATMA Akuloto sensitises on Organic Liquid Fertilizers

Zunheboto september 1 (MExN): The ATMA Akuluto block, Zunheboto conducted a one-day demonstration on Organic Liquid Fertilizer (OLF) at Sastami on August 24.

A press release issued by Akuluto block, ATMA Zunheboto stated that ATM, Joseph Awomi spoke on the topic organic liquid fertilizer. He highlighted the details material required for the preparation of organic fertilizer which includes neem cake, cow urine and cow dung. He encouraged the farmers to eliminate or drastically reduce the use of chemical fertilizer, he also emphasized on the importance and application and its market value. Demonstration on preparation of organic liquid fertilizer was shown to the farmers. There was an interaction session where farmers actively participated and various queries related to farming were shared. Altogether 16 progressive farmers and Self Help Groups (SHGs) from Sastami, Ajaqami and Izheto were benefitted from the programme.
