Dimapur, August 25 (MExN): In supersession of the earlier order and in the interest of public service, Regional Transport Authority Dimapur has revised the fare for auto rickshaw within the Dimapur city, with effect from September 1, 2017.
Auto rickshaw fare for town trip is fixed at Rs. 40 and fares for different parking lot have also been revised. All auto rickshaw drivers are directed to possess a copy of the revised chart along with the vehicle documents for the convenience of the public.
Auto rickshaw passengers and commuters are also informed to “insist” on the fare chart before paying the fare. “Defaulters will be strictly dealt with as per the Motor Vehicle Act,” Kesonyu Yhome, IAS, DC Dimapur & Chairman Regional Transport Authority Dimapur stated in an order.
