Kohima, July 26 (MExN): The Angami Youth Organization(AYO) has lauded the initiative undertaken by the health department for conducting various food safety and standards to prevent food adulteration.
AYO, in a release from Neinguvotuo Krose, President and Kekhrie Pfukha, General Secretary said, “it is astounding to discover that all these years our people have been fed with such substances which are damaging and destructive for human health.”
The organization, while extending full support to Himato Zhimomi, Commissioner & Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department and his subordinates for the major breakthrough, said “we encourage the effort and would give all possible cooperation so that this serious threat is tackled which is putting lives at peril.” It further appealed the public especially the business community to cooperate with the food safety officials.
