Kohima, January 11 (MExN): The Home Ministry, Government of India has directed that in the wake of resurgence of COVID-19 pandemic in the Country and due to increase in the number of COVID-19 cases, it has been decided to postpone all the programmes and events related to the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav - Iconic Events Week (January 17 to 23) of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Additional Secretary Home, Government of Nagaland, Nusieta Rhakho has issued a circular stating that the events and programs scheduled for January 18 in the State of Nagaland related to Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav stands postponed, and further action regarding these may be initiated after getting fresh instructions from MHA, GoI.
