DIMAPUR, DEC 5 (MExN): The All Zeliangrong Students’ Union Assam, Manipur & Nagaland (AZSU AMN) and Zeliangrong Students’ Union Nagaland (ZSUN) has appealed to both the warring factions to cease further clashes and bloodshed in the Zeliangrong areas.
The two unions lamented that because of the constant factional clashes and mounting operation between the factions especially in Athibung areas, fear psychosis in the minds of the public has been created.
“People of Athibung area are living in dilemma and nightmare as public movements and schedules are constantly disturbed due to clashes and mounting operation by both the factions” stated AZSU, Assistant General Secretary, Nchaheing Kompoing and ZSUN, President, Lungchui.
On this, the unions have appealed to both the warring factions to refrain from further clash and help restore peaceful atmosphere in the area.
