Ban on heavy machinery in Dhanrisi, Chathe extended

Dimapur, June 10 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Kesonyu Yhome has extended the ban on use of heavy machinery for extraction of resources (sand gravels and boulders) in Dhansiri and Chathe River within Dimapur district for a period of four months from June 1 to September 30. The ban has been imposed for preservation of the river and its resources. The one month ban on the same had expired on April 29.
