Dimapur, April 7 (MExN): The Excise (Narcotic cell) personnel has recovered 2360 capsules of banned Spasmo Proxyvon drug and arrested one person for illegal possession on April 6, an excise official informed today. Dy Commissioner of Excise (NC), Dimapur Nagaland, Visedelie Mepfuo in a press said the accused, identified as Alice (19) a resident of Signal Bosti, Dimapur, forwarded to judicial custody. The Excise official further informed that the Excise (NC) personnel manning the enter state Khuzama Checkgate has detected and recovered 1860 bottles of Codeine cough syrup; 70 Kgs of Ganja; 23,120 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon; and 844 bottles of IMFL & Beer between March 4-31. In this connection a total of 25 accused persons were arrested and booked under relevant section of law, he added.
