Dimapur, March 6 (DIPR): The Block Development Officer (BDO) of Bhandari, Chumthungo Khuvung, has informed that a general meeting cum training and interactive session with all the VDB Secretaries and Block Association office bearers of Bhandari Block will be held on March 22, 10:30 am at the Resource Centre Bhandari.
In the meeting cum training, issues relating to book keeping and maintenance of various record books under NREGA such as muster rolls, job cards etc will be explained. Besides, managing clean and proper cash book, payment and stock register, measurement book etc by the VDBs will also be explained and doubts any would be clarified by the officials. Various other important issues faced by the stakeholders (VDBs) will also be highlighted and discussed in the meeting.
Terming the meeting cum training as “very important”, the BDO Bhandari has directed all the VDB Secretaries and Association office bearers to attend the programme without fail. He cautioned that any VDB Secretary failing to attend the same will be dealt with seriously.
